California Proposition 65
California’s right-to-know law
California Proposition 65, formally known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide a clear and reasonable warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing Californians to a chemical listed by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
What a warning means
A Proposition 65 warning provides information about a potential exposure. A warning does not, by itself, mean that a product is unsafe, violates federal safety standards, or will cause harm when used as directed. The need for a warning depends on the specific chemical, the anticipated level and route of exposure, and applicable California requirements.
Some agricultural and mineral-derived ingredients can contain naturally occurring trace substances. Whether a warning is required is a product-specific determination based on the formulation, testing information, anticipated exposure, and guidance supplied by the manufacturer or other responsible business.
How Fuool handles Proposition 65 notices
Fuool uses product-specific notices rather than assuming that every supplement requires the same warning. When a manufacturer, supplier, or other responsible business determines that a Proposition 65 warning is required, we aim to display the applicable warning on the product page or during the purchase process and/or on the product label or packaging.
Please read each product page and label before purchase and use. If you need the exact warning or supporting information for a particular product, contact us before ordering through our Contact page.
